I worked, studied, published, wrote—and my passion for medicine and research led me, in 2003, to embrace private practice.
I re-evaluated everything I had studied and practiced up to that point, choosing a more open approach, still firmly grounded in scientific evidence. This shift gave me a new perspective on the power of choice in building a meaningful, healthy life—starting with an “ancestral” approach to nutrition.
Together with my husband Helmuth, we tested different eating patterns firsthand, to understand how our bodies—and especially our metabolism—respond to new inputs. That’s how we began to uncover the deep link between nutrition and metabolic response.
As we explored and refined numerous dietary approaches (which would later become the foundation of my clinical work and Challenges), we also discovered the healing power of light and its connection to health through circadian rhythm alignment.
To guide people in reclaiming balance, energy, and health through a conscious, personalized, and sustainable way of eating — grounded in solid scientific evidence and supported by a lifestyle that respects circadian rhythms, natural light exposure, and physical activity. My goal is to educate, inspire, and provide practical tools to support real, lasting lifestyle changes, helping each person become the driving force behind their own metabolic, physical, and emotional well-being.
With Top Life Project, I like to think of turning science into action — creating programs that combine knowledge, motivation, and real-life impact.
To become a point of reference for those who wish to awaken their metabolic intelligence and reclaim true mind-body well-being — through transparency, scientific evidence, and openness to change.
I believe in the power of leading by example: that’s why I live what I teach every day, to inspire others to take care of themselves with awareness and intention.
This vision gave birth to Top Life Project— my platform and space for sharing practical tools to guide change and help those who follow me achieve their goals, step by step.
After being a doctor, I made health education my mission.
Because when you're informed, you're free to choose what's best for you.
I believe it's essential to give everyone the right tools to make independent choices — not only to reach but to maintain their physical and emotional well-being over time.
The previous book, "It’s Not Just About Hormones," helps fill an information gap around menopause and everything that comes with it, busting common myths and outlining a path toward physical and emotional well-being.
“Natural light and metabolism are deeply interconnected. The links are vast and strongly supported by extensive scientific literature.”
